Allen Road Grade Separation - Project Update
Since Allen Road closed on March 23, 2026, crews have made significant progress on the critical underground work that will support the new grade separation.
Recent work includes:
-Pipe staging, fitting, welding, and installation along the east and west sides of Allen Road
-Excavation, pipe bedding, and backfill along the road
-Excavation, shoring, hydro-excavation, and backfilling across Allen Road
-Material deliveries and staging
-Crane delivery and assembly
-Rail and utility-related surveying, including top of rail, power relocation layout, and sewer surveying
