The Wayne County EV Roadmap is a Wayne County Economic Development Department (EDD) initiative to convene experts and our local communities to develop a countywide Electric Vehicle (EV) Roadmap.
The Sustainability & Innovation Division leads this effort to build capacity, strengthen alignment with existing sustainability goals,and increase access to resources and opportunities for all 43 communities.

Wayne County hosted its first EV Roadmap kickoff on June 26th, 2026. The meeting had an attendance of roughly 20 stakeholders varying in industry, from local communities to policy experts. The meeting's materials can be found in the upper right hand corner of this site.
